"The Odyssey String Quartet came to play in our music room. What I liked best about the music we heard and the information that was shared:
I liked learning where people find music every day.
All the different types of music they talked about.
That they explained the music instead of just giving the name.
That they told us a little about themselves and their instruments.
That they told us what each instrumentalist's job is.
Learning about some of the composers of the pieces.
Learning about the man who disobeyed the king.
That they played modern tunes and old quartet music.
It was amazing how they moved their bows so fast!
VERY ENTERTAINING
I liked to watch how fast the first violin moved her fingers
I liked how they shared the main tune and that the 1st violin didn't always get the spotlight!
I heard a few songs that I knew and some that were new.
